Two distinct patterns were created as backgrounds for the website, Hatch Design. The website showcases how mothers raise their children. The women interviewed are ethnically diverse which had to be shown in the patterns. The strong, bold designs were not to be gender specific and had to stray away for the stereotypical colours and images associated with children.
